Woo hoo! My hubby has just come up with a fabulous idea! He just said, “I am ready to go someplace warm!” Me too! I am thrilled beyond measure, he took the hint and thinks it’s all his idea to get away. We have had a few days of warm weather here in PA and I am ready to get outside and have fun. Spring fever has me longing for warm beaches, water fun and outdoor adventures. Living in the northeast limits the time to enjoy outdoor family fun. You heard it, he just gave his blessing on heading South. Well, he didn’t actually say south, but Florida, specifically Come visit GCFL has been calling my name for months!
I bet you already figured it out, but the plans are underway for a family vacation where we can all enjoy the fun times I have been longing for. I just ordered a travel guide. I could make all of the plans online, but hubby likes to page through travel brochures and since a trip was his idea, I can give in to a few small ideas. I am already dreaming of heading down the coast to white -sand beaches, gorgeous sunsets and precious memories.
My #1 priority for this trip is going to be unplugging from the online world (Sorry!) Gulf County Florida is famous for its spotty Wi-Fi, pet-friendly beaches and the area only has 2 stoplights. Family vacation paradise! My list of outdoor fun is getting longer and longer. Kayaking, biking, snorkeling and more! Oh and I just found out the Annual Tupelo Honey Festival takes place May 17, 2014. All the more reason, to get down there soon! Hubby loves honey; that should seal the deal!

What a fun contest! Right now we are in a blizzard. I’m not moving from my warm wrapped up blanket. lol. But I would love to visit somewhere warm and photo something fun like camping or hiking.

I live in South Florida near the Gulf Beaches. Beautiful places. highly recommend a visit to the area, I am a little partial though.
