I love seeing the big brown UPS truck heading down the streets of the neighborhood. It puts a smile in my heart knowing every package that ends up on a doorstep started from a single wish, Thankfully UPS and its employees work tirelessly to deliver everyday wishes throughout the holiday season and beyond. This season, UPS wants to share these magical stories and also make it more special with your help! Share a wish.
For every wish submitted with the hashtag #WishesDelivered, UPS will donate $1 to one of their charity partners (Salvation Army, Boys & Girls Club, or Toys for Tots) up to $100K! Wishes can automatically be submitted to the #WishesDelivered site by simply posting a wish on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #WishesDelivered, or going direct to the #WishesDelivered site and submitting there. Share a wish #WishesDelivered
I want to share my wish, it’s a big one! Right now, I personally know so many families fighting life threatening diseases that it was hard to pick just one. My wish is for others to become blood and/or organ donors. This precious 2 year old baby girl was diagnosed at 3 weeks old with Syndromic Biliary Atresia (liver disease). She has spent so much time in and out of the hospital in her 2 short years. She survived Biliary Atresia, Liver Transplant (live donation from her mother) and rejection (6 days post transplant) and now her family has received a diagnosis of PTLD, Post transplant lymphoproliferative disease.
Currently, this sweet girl is now undergoing 6 months of chemotherapy treatments to continue her fight. Being a blood and/or organ donor could make a difference in her life and those of many others fighting life threatening diseases.
Each time you share your wish you will help spread some holiday cheer by submitting your wish on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #WishesDelivered. Remember, every entry raises money for charity and lets others know to share their wishes, too. The more wishes you share, the more funds raised for charity. Share a wish!
You will need a tissue so you can watch the video below. See how UPS delivered wishes to several people. Some will make you cry, while others will make you smile. Don’t forget to share a wish! My heart is smiling again. The 4 year old that got to be a UPS driver for a day, is priceless. You could see the joy in his eyes, how wonderful! Singing UPS driver, what a treat! I’d love to see him drive down our street. How about the kids from the Boys and Girls Clubs getting treated with a trip to Toys R Us? I am sure we all have our favorites and it’s a blessing to many to have those wishes delivered
What’s your wish?
