It’s no surprise to me that online learning for kids has continued to expand and become a favored way for kids to experience education.  The internet has expanded our thinking and provided online learning for kids that can happen anywhere.  Making sure your child has great social experiences and builds positive relationships is all part of a well rounded education. Peers, mentors and teachers played a huge part in my educational and social experiences.

Being raised by a busy single mother, meant I had to do a lot of things on my own. Having a strong personal relationship with 2 female teachers and multiple friends during my high school years helped me stay focused and kept my eyes on the future. There were plenty of times when I thought school wasn’t for me and thought about throwing in the towel. The relationships I developed with those 2 female teachers, gave me role models and positive support to push myself to thrive and it worked. Today, thanks to the online world, I still have connections with those 2 special ladies.

Provost Academy is revolutionizing online learning for kids as an UnVirtual Online School. At Provost Academy teachers, advisers and administrators work to build one-to-one relationships with students. Attending Provost Academy is more than online learning for kids; it’s a whole new world of opportunities. Students are challenged to explore their interests by doing, to expand their sphere of awareness, and to prepare themselves for the challenges in life. Connecting face to face with fellow students who have shared dreams, goals, aspirations, and future plans creates a bond like no other. Having the opportunity to meet mentors and peers for coffee and personal connections is a powerful tool that will enhance and expand online learning for kids.

Provost Academy is an online accredited public school. There is no cost to enroll and diplomas students receive when they graduate from Provost Academy are real and they are recognized by colleges and the military.

Dedicated teachers, advisers and administrators challenge all students to go beyond what they think possible and to care deeply about the learning process not just the outcome. Learning is unique to each student and flexibility is required.Provost Academy  believes by working as team each student will receive the best education possible.

With all the different ways to receive an education these days, one thing will always ring true, parent’s are a child’s first and best teacher. Provost Academy Ohio is already promoting the Unvirtual way of education, but they want to get better, because all students deserve better!

That is why Provost Academy is calling on you to help launch the UnVirtual revolution by sharing your ideas, thoughts and suggestions on ways in which an online school can be more social.

You know what’s best for your child! What is the best way for an online school to get social?
