We have tried several over the years this one is the best and we make a double batch of it every Christmas! Be sure to watch for after Christmas for sprinkles and cookie cutters on clearance!! 1 c vegetable shortening
4 c powdered sugar
1 tsp butter flavoring
a couple drops (maybe 1/4 tsp) clear vanilla extract
4-6 tbsp heavy whipping cream (Or I use 2% milk)Mix all ingredients together in a bowl!
Add more milk if it comes out to thick. ( I start with four tablespoons and keep adding till i like the consistency)
Then add color if you want and frost!
