Hello all! I am Michele, a rural Central PA living, empty-nest mom of 3, that has been married to the love of my life for 28 years strong. I have lived in Central PA all my life and have spent the last 18 years living 40 miles north of Harrisburg, the state capitol of my great state. My husband and I have 3 adult children, Dustin (and his wife Meagen, who blogs here too), Devyn our only daughter whom just got engaged and Dylan. Only our youngest still lives at home, he sells cars and is never home!

I have a degree in early childhood education, am an advocate for play and prevention of childhood hunger. I currently work outside the home as a part-time as a social worker. I started my career with the YMCA , worked in the Head Start Program for many years and taught nutrition education with Penn State University. I have always worked in the non-profit sector and have a heart for helping others. I consider myself a life long learner and am always striving to stay up to date on topics related to women, healthy lifestyles and nutrition.

THE BLOG

Several years ago Just2Sisters started as a collaboration between me and my only sister, Jessica. We (basically me) planned on blogging about faith, family and furniture. Life happened and my sister had to do what was best for her family and the blog has been all mine ever since. Just2Sisters has evolved into a straight talk blog about women’s issues, healthy living, food and family.

I have been extremely blessed to partner with many brands and blogger networks. My goal for this blog is to build a genuine working relationship with any and all brand partners. I want your brand to be an integral part of the conversations on the blog and our social media outlets. My audience responds positively to my posts that relate to real life experiences.
