This post on behalf of Black Powder Tavern was part of an appetizer and dessert sampler provided by the Black Powder Tavern in Valley Forge, PA. All opinions are my own.
Some of you might already be aware that the Build Your Influence Summit for 2016 was this past weekend. We had such a great time learning from all of the amazing presenters, and after a full day of diligent note taking and “to do list” building, we needed a great place to get together for dinner. I had reached out via social media to a few restaurants in the Valley Forge and King of Prussia area and finally settled on the Black Powder Tavern as a great choice for our final meal together as the conference wrapped up. Being from Central PA (and a few of us from much further) we wanted to relax in a great atmosphere, have some good food, and hit the road for our journey back home.
I couldn’t have asked for more in any of these areas than we received from the team at the Black Powder Tavern. The General Manager Phil Cugliotta and his staff were exceptional. They offered us a group discount, some free apps and dessert, and a very welcoming atmosphere! My daughter in law has recently gone gluten free and they even had an entire menu for her to choose from. The Sous Chef, Eric came out to meet with us and discuss some of the great appetizers that we had to choose from and our wait staff was amazing.
Everyone in the group received prompt service and for a group of eight that can be difficult to achieve. We got to enjoy a little bit of the warm atmosphere of the Black Powder Tavern while still having plenty of quiet space to discuss our thoughts and reflections from the conference. I was thrilled that Phil and his staff all seemed very knowledgeable about not just the menu and extensive drink offerings of the restaurant, but they also shared with us a bit about the rich history of the site. We were happy to learn about the history of the location especially because the Valley Forge area is known for his historic elements.
Overall we had an excellent dinner at the Black Powder Taverrn in Valley Forge, Pa. After a long day of learning and networking it was nice to relax and socialize in such an inviting atmosphere! If you live or visit the area I highly suggest you check out this restaurant. They have a lovely outdoor seating area that we passed on our way in and I think during the summer it’s probably a prime spot for dinner! If you want more information you can check them out online, on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
